While the fest won't come back to Los Angeles after several difficulties it faced last year, Made in America reportedly will host a free concert on New York's Liberty Island.

Last year's Labor Day weekend marked Made in America festival's first and last time to be held simultaneously in Los Angeles and its hometown of Philadelphia. L.A. Times has reported that the event co-founded by Jay-Z isn't coming back to the City of Angels due to numerous difficulties it faced last year.
Featuring performances from Kanye West, John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Iggy Azalea and Kendrick Lamar among others, the L.A. edition attracted more than 71,000 people over two days. It, however, was plagued with several issues including the choice of L.A.'s Grand Park and noise complaints made by local residents.
The Made in America fest is returning to Philadelphia, though. In a now-deleted post on its website, Billboard said that after ditching L.A., Made in America will host a free concert on New York's Liberty Island reportedly with Mary J. Blige as a headliner.
"This is not at all a stepping back - this is a reevaluation of the model of going from one location to two to three," Budweiser VP of marketing Brian Perkins told Billboard. "We're a very ambitious brand, and we have a very ambitious partner in Jay Z, who also dreams big. And we always want to do big, bold things with music under the moniker of Budweiser Made In America."
