The new 'Late Show' host tries on some different styles such as the 'Un-Hitler,' the 'Amish' and the 'half-Wolverine' before he is back to his 'Classic Clean Colbert' look.

Three months before his "Late Show" debut, Stephen Colbert appears in a video to promote his new gig. As he's gearing up for the new job, the comedian shaves his bushy gray beard which he had grown since he signed off of "The Colbert Report" in December.
He says in the video that the beard helped him go incognito, but he needs to be more like himself before making his first appearance on "Late Show". He jokingly adds, "Plus, CBS is making me shave it off because Tom Selleck's mustache has a non-compete clause."
He then slowly buzzes off his beard, trying on some different styles such as the "Un-Hitler," the "Amish" and the "half-Wolverine" before he's back to his "Classic Clean Colbert" look. He then has a quick flashback to the time he spent with his beard.
"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" is scheduled to premiere September 8 on CBS.
