"Arrested Development" executive producer Brian Grazer confirms Netflix has greenlit a fifth season of the show. In an interview with Adam Carolla on "Adam Carolla Show" podcast, he reveals that more episodes of the cult comedy are coming as soon as mid-2016.

"Netflix is determined to do more episodes so we're going to do more episodes," Grazer says. "It's a lot of juggling of all these stars' lives." He adds that production on the fifth season will begin around January or February of 2016 with new episodes premiering about four months after that.

Netflix had several times expressed interest to make new episodes of "Arrested Development", but never revealed when they would arrive. Back in April, Grazer said that the new installment would consist of 17 new episodes. "We're going to do another 17 episodes, so stay tuned for 'Arrested Development'," he said on the "B.S. Report" podcast.
