During the ceremony, a plane with banner which read 'CHEATER' was flying overhead and continued to circle the area until Bobby finished his acceptance speech.

AceShowbiz - Bobby Flay was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, June 2. It was his first public appearance since splitting from his wife Stephanie March but unfortunately his nasty divorce battle overshadowed the celebration.

Bobby was joined by his mother Dorothy, his 19-year-old daughter Sophie and his ex-wife Kate Connelly. His "The Chew" co-host Michael Symon and the Food Network president Brooke Johnson also supported him and gave speeches.

When Bobby took the stage to begin his acceptance speech, fans noticed a plane with banner reading "CHEATER" flying overhead. The plane reportedly continued to circle the area until the cookbook author finished his speech but he didn't seem to see it.

During his acceptance speech, Bobby joked, "I just want to make sure that everybody understands - because I know there's been a little confusion - I am not getting this star for my cameos in 'Entourage'. I know there's a little debate about that, but honestly to be the first chef to get a star is really truly an amazing milestone."

He then gushed over his daughter, "I need to dedicate this truly honorable moment to the most important person in my life, my daughter Sophie. I look forward to watching you build your own star - the star of life, passion and happiness because really what more can we ask for? Love, Dad."

Following his split from Stephanie, Bobby was accused of cheating on her with his assistant Elyse Tirrell. His rep later denied the accusations, saying, "We will continue to refrain from responding to the continued efforts by certain parties to spread rumors and innuendo. This specific allegation was in a letter sent from one attorney in this case to the other. It was written and then leaked specifically to try to insert this story into the press, and that's unfortunate."
