Ed Sheeran looked very happy with the results of his wax figure unveiled at Madame Tussauds in New York on Thursday, May 28. Before the unveiling ceremony, the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker explained the creation process.
"They put you in grey underwear and a grey vest and you stand there for two hours as strangers poke you," he shared, "I'm excited for my parents to see it. I think it'll be quite weird for me but I think for my parents to see what they created."
After Ed saw his wax figure, he exclaimed, "It's so f***ing weird. They've even got my lazy eye in, it's kind of pointing that way." He later started to take seflies with the waxwork, which wore clothes and carried a guitar donated by the "I See Fire" singer himself.
Ed later took to Instagram to share a selfie of him and the wax figure. "Met my waxwork at Madame Tussaud, he didn't say much but he's got a bulge so it's all good," he wrote alongside the shot.
Ed's fans sure seem to like the wax figure. One commenter wrote, "Oh my goosh I must go to this museum! u re so funny ily ed." A second user commented, "Thogubt you were the one in the front for a second lmao." Another user, meanwhile, posted, "Crazy how much this looks like him."
