Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult Spotted on 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Set

Director Brian Singer shares a behind-the-scenes photo which features the stars who play Mystique and Beast.

AceShowbiz - Director Brian Singer has been so active recently in sharing pictures of his upcoming movie "%X-Men: Apocalypse%" via Instagram. The pictures he shared mostly highlighted new cast members until he shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Thursday, May 21, which captures himself, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.

The picture is a selfie taken by the director in the hallway to Cerebro. Lawrence smiles while cozying up to co-star and former boyfriend Hoult. "Back with the #thekidsinthehall #jenniferlawrence #mystique #nicholashoult #beast #Xmen #XMenApocalypse," Singer captioned the photo. According to Lawrence, it will be her last time to appear as Mystique in the movie franchise.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will be released May 27, 2016 across the States. Rumor has it, the film will center on Mystique, Beast (Hoult), Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Professor X (James McAvoy) who team up to fight a new and uniquely powerful enemy. The movie will take place in the 80s, a decade after "X-Men: Days of Future Past". Evan Peters and Lucas Till will reprise their roles as Quicksilver and Havoc respectively. The movie also added Lana Condor as Jubilee, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, and Alexandra Shipp as Storm.
