Days after announcing her Las Vegas residency, Jennifer Lopez stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday, May 15 to promote it. The singer also gave fans a peek at what her upcoming shows would be like by treating them to a medley of her biggest hits.

J.Lo kicked off her set with "If You Had My Love" alongside some showgirls. She later traded her black suit for a red leotard during "Love Don't Cost a Thing", "Jenny from the Block" and "Get Right" while busting out energetic moves alongside several male dancers. She closed out her performance with "On the Floor".

The 45-year-old ageless diva's residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino won't start until January 2016. Tickets for the first 20 shows go on sale to the public on Saturday.

During her appearance on the talk show, the "American Idol" judge also sat down with host Ellen DeGeneres to talk about the cancellation of the singing competition.

"You know, I don't believe anything - it's not over until it's over," she said. "Yes, they've announced it's the last season next year. After the finale this week and you feel that moment, you remember why you love this show. It just gives opportunity where there is none. It's about dreams and it's about everything that America is about. They say it's the last year, but I don't know. You never know."
