Sarah Silverman is set to star in the untitled The Lonely Island Project, a film of an American comedy group, The Lonely Island. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Silverman will play a rapper's sharp and sarcastic publicist who has to suffer many indignities. She will join the comedy trio consisting of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone.

According to sources, the film is set to take place somewhere "in the world of music." Besides, it will feature parodies of some music hits such as Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" and Katy Perry's "Part of Me". It centers on a rapper (Samberg) whose latest album bombs and he must reunite with his former boyband for a concert.

On Thursday, May 14, producer Judd Apatow shared a teaser poster of the film to mark the start of shooting in Los Angeles. "We're shooting the s**t out of this movie. The Lonely Island Presents Top Secret Untitled Lonely Island Movie. Now Filming in Los Angeles," read a tagline in the poster.

Three Lonely Islanders are producing the movie with Apatow while Morgan Sackett is executive producing. Schaffer and Taccone are also directing the movie.
