The Fun.-esque new song is the latest to have been unveiled from Ruess' 'Grand Romantic' album that's slated for release on June 16.

AceShowbiz - In anticipation of his upcoming solo album "Grand Romantic", Nate Ruess has debuted another new song off it. After unveiling "Nothing Without Love" and "AhHa", the Fun. frontman took to his SoundCloud page on Monday, May 11 to share "Great Big Storm".

The up-tempo pop track sounds like a Fun. record. On it, Ruess talks about getting through difficult times in his life. "Because we're holding our own in a great big storm/ And though we're cutting it close/ We won't let go/ Oh no I can't believe/ Everything falling down around me/ But now we're holding our own/ And won't let go," he sings the chorus.

"Grand Romantic" is due out on June 16 via Fueled by Ramen. To promote the album, which will be his first LP since Fun. released their 2012 debut set "Some Nights", Ruess will be touring Europe and North America starting on May 31 until August 9.

While Ruess, Jack Antonoff and Andrew Dost are busy with their respective non-Fun. projects, the Grammy-winning band is currently on hiatus. The trio said earlier this year that they'd make music together again when they're inspired to do so.
