AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey hosts her own cooking show called "Cooking With Mariah Carey and Also With Bryan". Joined by Bryan Safi, the songtress demonstrates the steps to make her own version of Frito pie in a new video for Funny or Die.
"It's really the only Frito recipe we know," Mariah says, hinting that the center of the comedy is the food itself. Throughout the cooking process Mariah covers her hands with surgical gloves as she considers the job "disgusting" while Bryan adds, "It's a dirty job." Though so, Mariah sports her diamond butterfly ring over the gloves while mixing and mashing all the ingredients in a pie pan.
At one point, Mariah jokingly says that her song "Infinity" was apparently inspired by her ex-Italian lover named Frito. "Boy you acted so corny like Fritos," she cites the lyric of the song. "I had an Italian lover named Frito years ago. Frito stole my car so..."
"Sorry, I've got to fix my hair, I don't want to get it in the pie," Mariah suddenly turns her back and walks away from the table while fixing her hair in a hilarious way before adding, "So he was kind of a jerk." Mariah's co-host jokingly adds, "I used to date someone named Tostito. It was a horrible relationship."
Later, Mariah's longtime director pal Brett Ratner shows up as a special guest to taste the odd culinary creation. Entertainer Jeff Beacher also appears on the weird show while holding a bouquet of flowers as he plays Frito. "There's no beginning and there is no end," Mariah says while shaking her head. "This has been s**t."
In the funny video, the disgusting pie is apparently made of olive oil, lettuce and M&Ms sprinkled over other ingredients. Meanwhile, the cooking steps include "wear a diamond ring" and "feed your celebrity friend."
