Bruce Jenner has threatened to sue CNN and New York Daily News after they published some "illegally obtained" photos of him wearing a dress outside his Malibu home. Bruce complained that the photos violated his privacy because they were taken using a telephoto lens from as far as a mile away.

Bruce's spokesperson told Us Weekly on Tuesday, April 28, "Both Daily News and CNN pulled the photos sold to them by X17 once they found out they were illegally obtained. The agency no longer is selling those photos [since] they confirmed they were shot illegally. Under California law, photographers can be found liable for invasion of privacy for using telephoto lenses to capture images of people engaged in 'personal or familial activity.' "

The reality star's lawyer Marty Singer added, "The photos were clearly unlawfully taken from a very long distance using an enhancement device. Bruce Jenner is going to enforce his right to privacy."

New York Daily News previously received a cease and desist letter from Bruce's lawyer after the paper published his dress photos on its front page and website. The photos were also subsequently broadcast on CNN during a segment hosted by Don Lemon titled "Caught on Camera: Bruce Jenner's New Look?". The photos have since been removed.
