Inquiry into the suspended NBC News anchor's Iraq story has reportedly expanded to include six cases in which Williams is thought to have misrepresented events.

Brian Williams is apparently in a bigger trouble months after he was suspended for being caught lying about his helicopter being hit by enemy in Iraq in 2003. An internal investigation launched by NBC News into the veteran journalist is widening to include six stories which Williams is believed to have fabricated or misrepresented.
According to The New York Times, the cases included claims made by Williams about events from Tahrir Square in Cairo during the Arab Spring in 2011. Two sources further revealed the investigated incidents included story about his presence during a 2006 missile attack in northern Israel, and how he got a fragment of a helicopter that crashed during the mission to kill Osama bin Laden in 2011.
In February 2011, Williams told "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart that he was in the Square during the protests. However, NBC News reports on the clash showed that Williams was reporting "from a balcony overlooking Tahrir Square" instead of from inside the Square.
Neither NBC News nor Williams has commented on the latest report.
