There was one awkward moment when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arrived at Lincoln Center on Tuesday night, April 21 for TIME 100 Gala in New York City. The couple got pranked by Amy Schumer when they posed on the red carpet.

The Comedy Central roaster pretended to trip and fell face down to the ground in front of Kim and Kanye. While the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star flashed a wry smile, her husband didn't appear to be impressed with the gag. He didn't smile and gave no reaction as he and Kim moved to a different spot on the red carpet.

Kim wore a plunging, patterned Sophia Theallet black dress which featured sheer panelling around the chest. Her hair was pulled back in elegant ponytail. Kanye, meanwhile, donned a black velvet jacket over a white tee and matching pants. He completed his look with black leather shoes.

Before arriving at the event, Kim experienced a few surprises. She was bombarded by fans and photographers when leaving her hotel. At one point, a photographer accidentally stepped on the 34-year-old reality star's floor-length dress, almost ripping it.

In other news, Kim and Kanye reportedly planned to adopt a son from Armenia after paying secret visits to the country. A source told Reveal Magazine, "Kim and Kanye made arrangements when the cameras weren't following them to see some babies who were up for adoption."

The source added, "Kim and Kanye have been desperate for a son. Kanye has always wanted a boy who he can turn into a mini-me, a spitting image of himself. And with their first wedding anniversary coming up next month, a brother for North is perfect to celebrate one year of married bliss. And by getting a child from Kim's ancestral home, she feels like her new son will look like North and other members of the family."
