The 'Roseanne' show alum suffers from macular degeneration and glaucoma which can make her lose her eyesight.

AceShowbiz - Roseanne Barr has revealed she's slowly going blind due to her condition that is getting worse day by day. The TV icon opened up in an interview with The Daily Beast at the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday, April 20, that her "vision is closing in."
Barr suffers from macular degeneration and glaucoma, a disease which can leave her blind. When being asked whether her doctors had given her any kind of time frame on when that would come to pass, she replied, "No, they can't. My vision is closing in now. It's something weird. But there are other weird things. That one's harsh, cause I read a lot, and then I thought, 'Well, I guess I could hire somebody to read for me and read to me.' But I like words and I like looking. You do what you have to do. I just try and enjoy vision as much as possible - y'know, living it up. My dad had it, too." She explained that her father had the same disease.
She thinks marijuana is good for releasing mind control and it is also good to help her overcome the disease. "It's a good medicine, you know. I have macular degeneration and glaucoma, so it's good for me for that because I have pressure in my eyes. It's a good medicine for a lot of things," she admitted. The comedian is no stranger to marijuana as she smoked weeds in her film "Roseanne for President!".
In the interview, she also shared about her political belief, saying she is not Hillary Clinton supporter. "I think she's a Democrat just like they all are. She seems like every other Democrat. I would not like to see her win. She's the same old s**t. I'd like to see me win. I don't see how she can win, but it will be interesting to see how the process goes - although it's kind of offensive that the American people for 21 months have to live through the mudslinging that goes on between the two parties, which I think is just a tactic to prevent government from doing anything about any of our problems," so said the actress who once became a presidential candidate.
