AceShowbiz - Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood may topline a "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". Deadline reports that Palicki and Blood are finalizing their deals to star on the potential new series which is being developed at ABC.
Palicki and Blood are expected to reprise their roles as Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird and Lance Hunter respectively. They first joined the mothership series in season 2, bringing a "Mr and Mrs Smith"-like dynamic to the show.
Details of the "S.H.I.E.L.D." spin-off have been kept under wraps. It was previously reported that the story might draw a line from plotline in the second season of the flagship series, with Inhumans and Deathlok rumored to appear on it.
"S.H.I.E.L.D." executive producer Jeffrey Bell is shepherding the project. "S.H.I.E.L.D." co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski is expected to serve as showrunner for the potential new series.
