The gritty trailer hints at a corrupted hero and highlights a standoff between Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman.

AceShowbiz - The highly anticipated first trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has leaked online. The intense video features voiceovers hinting at a corrupted hero as the citizens of Metropolis appear to turn against the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) as a Superman statue has been spray painted "False God".

"Devils don't come from hell beneath us," Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor says in a voiceover. "They come from the sky." The video then gives a glimpse of Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne and his Batman's suit while butler Alfred (Jeremy Irons) says, "That's how it starts, the feeling, the powerlessness, that turns good men...cruel."

Then there is a shot of Batman and Superman as they finally come face to face. "Tell me, do you bleed? You will," the Caped Crusader taunts Superman in a deep voice.

The "Batman v Superman" trailer will be played at IMAX special screening events on April 20. The bootleg footage seemed to be taken by a fan from a screening in Latin America.

The "Man of Steel" sequel will be hitting theaters across the nation on March 25, 2016. Zack Snyder returns as director for the flick. Amy Adams will reprise her role as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa will make his first appearance as Aquaman.
