The 'True Tori' star was hospitalized after tripping and falling on a hibachi grill while having lunch with her family at Benihana Restaurant.

AceShowbiz - Tori Spelling was rushed to hospital after tripping and falling on a hot hibachi grill, the grill used by chefs to cook in front of customers. The incident took place while she was dining with her family including her husband Dean McDermott and their children Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn at Benihana Restaurant on Sunday, April 5.

A source said that the 42-year-old actress suffered a bad burn which required a skin graft. Spelling reportedly went home and tried to take care of the injury herself, but the pain remained and didn't get better. So, she went to Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, California to see her doctor before finally being ordered to undergo treatment.

A source told Daily Mail that Spelling's doctor suggested to remove the damaged skin that was caused by severe burn. They will graft skin from another area of the body. "She questioned if it was absolutely necessary but doctors said she risked severe infection and scarring if she didn't act right away. She underwent a skin graft last week and must now spend several days recuperating. Friends are praying for her to make a full recovery," a source said.

Before the incident happened, Spelling posted a photo on Instagram showing she was enjoying the outing with her family. "Happy #Easter from The McDermotts!" so read the caption.

She also took a photo with her little nephew inside Benihana Restaurant, sharing that she was enjoying her lunch with her family and her extended family.
