The singer helps James Corden deal with Los Angeles traffic and entertains him as she sings her hits with him during a carpool karaoke session.

James Corden was lucky he had Mariah Carey in the passenger seat of his car while he was dealing with Los Angeles traffic. Not only did the singer accompany the U.K. native on his way to work to film "The Late Late Show with James Corden", but she also entertained him as she joined him in a carpool karaoke session while he was driving through the streets.
"Thanks for helping with my journey to work, just the traffic is so bad," Corden told Carey before asking her, "Can I put the radio on?" She said yes and the intro of her song "Always Be My Baby" kicked in.
Carey immediately learned it wasn't a coincidence. "It wasn't an accident," she said. She first refused to take part in the karaoke session, telling Corden, "I'm not singing today. I was up all night." She, however, ended up singing with the comedian and helping him belt out her other hits like "Vision of Love" and "Fantasy".
