Lena Dunham, 28, ditched her chin-grazing bob and traded it with a fresh pixie cut. It's her shortest style so far. She debuted her new look last Wednesday, March 18 on "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
After Seth Meyers said that the actress looked outstanding with her new short haircut, she thanked him and joked that she was premiering it on his show. "Thank you so much, I'm premiering it right now on the show," she told Meyers.
The "This Is 40" star still didn't explain why she cut her hair short. Many people suggest that it may be for her role on "Girls" where she portrays Hannah Horvath. Others assume she may be going undercover on "Scandal".
Dunham also opened up about her latest role on hit drama series "Scandal" where she guest starred in the Thursday, March 19 episode as an author named Kinky Sue. Dunham told Meyers that the opportunity was a "longtime dream" come true. She said she would throw a party to celebrate it with her family and friends.
She also shared a picture on Instagram showing off her new haircut. Her hair looked messy and she wore a plain green top in the photo. Many comments and likes were coming from her fans and followers. "Bold! It makes your eyes look like Bambi. It's a great contrast to your outspokenness," said one of her followers.
