Robbie Kay, who played the villainous Peter Pan on ABC's "Once Upon a Time," has just been added to the cast of NBC's upcoming series, "Heroes Reborn." The 13-episode event series is set to debut this year as a reboot of the popular drama show "Heroes".
Prior to that, the network is expected to launch a digital series to introduce the characters and new storylines. Plot details of the series are not yet disclosed, but it is said that the series will "follow a new stand-alone story arc."
Kay is said to be playing a new character, but there haven't been any details disclosed. The British actor joins Zachary Levi and Jack Coleman, who will be reprising his role from the original series.
"Heroes" creator Tim Kring is on board executive producing the reboot alongside James Middleton and Peter Elkoff. Matt Shalman will be directing the opening episode.
