The former 'Seinfeld' star calls off his two nearly sold out shows in Mumbai because of 'issues related to traffic and parking at the venue.'

AceShowbiz - Jerry Seinfeld was forced to cancel his debut show in India. He was supposed to perform at the Stage 42 cultural festival on March 14 and 15 in Mumbai. "We couldn't figure out alternate parking and traffic arrangements, and it wasn't possible to reschedule his travel," one of the show organizers told Reuters.
Concerns over inadequate parking space for the people attending the two nearly sold-out shows were raised by police after a charity fashion show attended by a politician at the stadium which has a seating capacity of 4,000 people previously led to traffic snarls. "They didn't want it repeated," the source explained.
"Issues related to traffic and parking at the venue, which were brought to our attention only a couple of days ago, forced the cancelation of all artist travel arrangements pending a resolution of these logistical issues," reads an official announcement from the organizers. Fans who have purchased the tickets will get refunds.
