20th Century Fox releases first five photos from the film that give a look at life beyond The Glade and the film's new and returning characters.

Ahead of the September theatrical release of "The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials", 20th Century Fox has unveiled several first pictures from the upcoming flick. There are five different pics released, all of which give a peek on what life looks like beyond The Glade. The photos also tease the film's characters, both new and returning.
Based on James Dashner's second novel in "The Maze Runner" series, " The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" will tell the story of "Thomas and the other Gladers as they have escaped the maze and are put into a dormitory where they face new threats." The film's cast include the likes of Dylan O'Brien, Thomas Sangster, Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Patricia Clarkson, Rosa Salazar, Aidan Gillen, and Giancarlo Esposito.
"The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" is set to debut in 3D, 2D, and IMAX theaters across the U.S. on September 18. It is expected to at least repeat the success of its predecessor "The Maze Runner", which was made on a $34 million budget and earned $340.8 million at the worldwide box office.
