The Compton rapper's highly-anticipated forthcoming album, which is set to be released on March 23 via Aftermath/Interscope, could be titled 'To Pimp a Butterfly'.

AceShowbiz - Kendrick Lamar's highly-anticipated new album has a proper cover art. The rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday night, March 10 to share a black-and-white image showing a group of shirtless men posing in front of a building resembling the White House while holding dollar bills. A judge lies on the ground with two Xs covering his eyes.

Lamar also hinted at the official title of his new studio effort in the caption. " 'Don't all dogs go to heaven? Don't Gangsta's boogie? Do owl s**t stank? Lions, Tigers & Bears. But TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY. Its the American dream n***a....' - lil Homie," he wrote.

The album comes as a follow-up to 2012's "good kid, m.A.A.d city" which was nominated for several awards at the 2014 Grammys, including Best Rap Album and the coveted Album of the Year. It's available for pre-order on iTunes and is scheduled to hit shelves on March 23 via Aftermath/Interscope.

Already confirmed to appear on the 16-song set is "The Blacker the Berry" which Lamar debuted last month. Meanwhile, it's still unknown if his Grammy-winning song "i" will make the cut to the disc or not.
