Jonathan Bricklin says his relationship with the 'Thelma and Louise' actress 'continues to evolve in new and unexpected ways.'

Did Susan Sarandon call it quits with her much-younger boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin? According to New York Post, the pair split because she was unhappy being part of AOL's new reality show "Connected" in which he was one of the main cast. "It caused a lot of strain in the relationship," a source says.
In response to the rumor, Bricklin told PEOPLE, "Susan and I have a lot of respect and great admiration for each other. It's impossible to concisely characterize our relationship, other than to say that it continues to evolve in new and unexpected ways."
"She supported my decision to be a part of AOL's Connected, and making this series about my life has brought up real and somewhat unexplored issues, but it didn't break us up," he added. The show will air later this month. It follows six New Yorkers and their partners.
Susan Sarandon, 68, and Jonathan Bricklin, 37, first met on a road trip to Chile in early 2010. "It's the soul of a person that interests me," Susan said of their age gap in an interview with Hello! magazine last October. "When you are in love, the question of age, sex, colour no longer holds any importance."
