Robert Pattinson is seemingly taking his relationship with FKA twigs to the next level. A source tells E! News that the 28-year-old actor gave a promise ring to the songstress, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, back in December and "she was ecstatic to get it."
According to the source, Robert shared the happy development of his relationship with FKA to his friends at an "I-want-to-marry-you-dinner." The "Twilight" actor told his friends that they weren't officially engaged yet. The source said Robert would propose to FKA as soon as this summer after she completed her tour and he wrapped up his projects.
A friend of Robert and FKA told PEOPLE that Robert also sported the similar promise ring. "He wants to marry her," the friend said. "They are inseparable when they are together. They live at his house." The friend added that the star of "The Rover" was "much more calm and happy than before."
Robert and FKA were first spotted together back in September. At that time, they were photographed holding hands in Venice Beach, California. They later fueled dating speculations after having a night out with friends in Hollywood.
Later, Robert reportedly took FKA to meet his parents in England. Things went smoothly since the 27-year-old singer was welcomed by the elders. A family friend said, "FKA is not as clean-cut, but that makes her more fun."
