'The Walking Dead' 5.13 Sneak Peeks: Rick Questions the Alexandrians' Trust in Him
TV

Rick seems to suspect that there may be a hidden agenda behind his appointment as a constable of the town not long after they arrived at Alexandria.

AceShowbiz -

Rick is back in uniform on "The Walking Dead". The newly clean-shaven father of two has been appointed as a town constable along with Michonne by Rep. Monroe (Tovah Feldshuh) not long after they arrived at Alexandria.

Suspicious as always, Rick thinks it's weird that Monroe puts so much trust in a new guy in town. "I don't know if this is all kind of play...handing authority to strangers," he tells Michonne in a preview for next week's episode.

"Forget" airs Sunday, March 8 at 9/8c on AMC. According to the official synopsis, Rick and the group continue to acclimate to their new surroundings.

In a new interview with Variety, Tovah Feldshuh talks about how Alexandrians see Rick and his group. "Alexandria is not afraid (of Rick and his friends) but circumspect," says the Tony Award-winning actress. "They're careful. Norman Reedus carries around a (crossbow), Danai Gurira (has) her sword - it's quite a motley crew of warriors. Deanna is desperate to get that for the community to plan for the future. It's like a head of state needing to have some kind of military arm to preserve and protect."
