According to a new report, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star was driving at 38 miles per hour when he smashed the Lexus on Pacific Coast Highway earlier this month.

AceShowbiz - Bruce Jenner was driving at 38 miles per hour during this month's fatal accident, TMZ reported. Law enforcement sources told the site that the Sensing Diagnostic Module (data recorder) in Bruce's car showed he was initially driving between 46 and 47 MPH.
The father of Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner slammed on his brakes right before the impact, bringing his speed down to 38. The accident reportedly occurred in less than 3 seconds. That would mean Bruce was not aware of the traffic backup at a stop light ahead of him until the very last second.
In related news, Bruce allegedly could face financial ruin if the victim's family decided to sue him. A source close to the investigation told Radar Online that Kris Jenner's ex-husband only had insurance coverage up to $250,000. "It's absolutely crazy that someone who has his kind of money would risk everything by not having higher rates of protection," the source said.
Recently, police obtained a video capturing the entire crash. The video, recorded by an MTA bus behind the Hummer involved in the crash, reportedly showed Bruce striking both the Lexus and the Prius, and the Lexus never made contact with the Prius.
Los Angeles District Attorney later reportedly requested police who were investigating the accident to turn over their findings. "The DA's office has been in contact with investigators handling the Bruce Jenner crash, and have indicated that once it's turned over to the office, the Major Crimes Division will be reviewing it," a source told Radar Online.
"Bruce could be facing either misdemeanor or felony involuntary vehicular manslaughter charges because of the death of one of the drivers in the crash," the source added.
