Benedict Cumberbatch isn't taking a break from work to go on honeymoon after marrying theatre director Sophie Hunter on Saturday, February 14. In fact, the actor flew from England to Hollywood, California to fulfill his commitment to appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night.

"I felt bad about you not coming, so I thought I'd bring you in on the honeymoon," Cumberbatch jokingly explained why he didn't cancel his scheduled appearance. Feeling guilty that the "Sherlock" star had to be on the show just two days after his wedding, he tried to make it more like a honeymoon with the set background changed into a tropical beach. The comedian also served two pina coladas.

"That's the worst pina colada I have ever drunk," Kimmel admitted. Cumberbatch responded, "There's absolutely no alcohol in that." The host also showed some kitchenware that he prepared as a wedding gift for the Alan Turing of "The Imitation Game".

Talking about his future baby's name, Cumberbatch said his child would take his second name. "Poor child I think it will, have to it's kind of the tradition," he jokingly said. Kimmel later suggested baby name for the newlywed actor, saying, "As long as it starts with a 'Q'. Because then the kid could be Q. Cumberbatch: 'Cucumberbatch.' "

Cumberbatch is nominated for Best Actor at the 2015 Academy Awards that will take place on Sunday, February 22. He earned the nomination for his role as British mathematician/computer scientist Alan Turing in "The Imitation Game".
