The former 'Green Lantern' actor shows off a 'ballerina pink' prototype mask for his superhero character in the upcoming comic book adaptation.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds gives an early sneak peek at "Deadpool". The hunky actor hyped up the long-delayed superhero movie by posting on Twitter a picture of a prototype mask for his wisecracking sword-wielding character.
"Sepia tone disguises the fact the mask is ballerina pink," he captioned the picture. "It's early. 365 sleeps early. #deadpool #prototypes."

Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool is a talkative mercenary with the ability to heal rapidly. He was previously played by Reynolds in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". After a long delay, the expert swordsman is set to get a solo movie due February 12, 2016 Stateside.
"Homeland" actress Morena Baccarin and "Orange Is the New Black" beauty Taylor Schilling are among those eyed for the leading lady. Crystal Reed ("Teen Wolf), Rebecca Rittenhouse ("Red Band Society"), Sarah Greene ("Vikings"), and Jessica De Gouw ("Arrow") join the mix.
