AceShowbiz - "Alvin and the Chipmunks 4" has found its villain in the figure of Tony Hale. The 44-year-old actor has just been added to the existing cast ensemble which among others include Jason Lee, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney.

"Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip" is the fourth installment of the popular animated/live-action pic "Alvin and the Chipmunks". Walt Becker is directing for 20th Century Fox, with Ross Bagdasarian and Janice Marmen producing, and Karen Rosenfeld executive producing, Variety reported.

At the time of writing, plot details of the forthcoming movie haven't been disclosed. The film has been slated for a December 23 release.

Just like its predecessors, "The Road Chip" is expected to gain success in the market. The previous three features have grossed more than $1 billion worldwide.

Tony Hale is best recognized for his starring role as Buster Bluth on the FOX comedy series "Arrested Development". He could next be seen acting in big-screen film "Yoga Hosers".
