Fox News Fires Back at Lindsay Lohan and Her Mom Over Defamation Lawsuit
TV

Fox News says they 'will defend this case to the fullest,' insisting that they have removed the segment in question and apologized on air.

Fox News reacts to the lawsuit filed against them by Lindsay Lohan and her mom Dina Lohan. The legal feud stemmed from a comment airing on the TV network last year about LiLo doing cocaine together with her mother.

While LiLo and her mother claimed the TV network hadn't removed the segment as requested, Fox News insisted they had yanked off the footage and issued an apology on air. "We will defend this case to the fullest," a rep told The Wrap.

"The remark about which Lindsay and Dina Lohan complain was made on live television by a guest nearly a year ago. We removed the segment from our archives altogether last February and also apologized on-air. At that time, the Lohans did not make any demands for money, and we are surprised they are doing so now."

The Lohans sued Fox News, TV host Sean Hannity, and commentator Michelle Fields for defamation.
