CBS has found the love interest for Melissa Benoist's "Supergirl". Mehcad Brooks has been cast in the role of James "Jimmy" Olsen on the television adaptation of DC Comics superheroine.

James, who in the comic books is referred to as Jimmy, is described as an attractive photographer at CatCo, the media company where Kara Zor-El a.k.a. Supergirl works as an assistant to Cat Grant. He has recently been living and working in National City, through the reason is still a secret.

James also appears in the Superman comics where he's depicted as Lois Lane and Clark Kent's close friend.
