Not so long after revealing that she'd written and recorded a song with Harry Styles, Meghan Trainor gave fans the first listen to the collaboration. The 21-year-old singer/songwriter played a snippet of the track titled "London Lights" when she recently made a visit to U.K.'s "Capital FM Breakfast".
Trainor sang the song live for the show's hosts while playing her ukulele. "Saying that you love that I got hazel eyes/ And honestly, I won't catch up on sleep tonight/ I've been looking at London lights and missing you," she sings.
Before previewing the song, which she calls "cute," Trainor talked with the hosts about what it's like to work with Styles. "Immediately I felt comfortable. At first I was a little nervous because it's Harry Styles, everyone's obsessed with him," she said. "He walked in completely normal. He was just a 20 year-old dude."
During the chat, she also dismissed rumors that she and the One Direction member were dating. "Did we scissor? No!" she joked.
For now, it's still unclear when fans can listen to Trainor's duet with Styles in full. She's just put out her debut album "Title". Powered by hits "All About That Bass" and "Lips Are Movin", it is currently sitting at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
