The 'How I Met Your Mother' star shares top three items in new year resolutions before poking fun at one of the items on the list, saying people should 'be realistic.'

A new Oscar promo featuring Neil Patrick Harris was released on New Year's Eve to welcome the new year of 2015. Looking dapper in a tux, the "How I Met Your Mother" star mocks one new year resolution which usually people fail to achieve by the end of the year in the new clip.
"It's the time of the year when we start thinking about new year resolutions. Top three being eat less, exercise more and watch me host the Oscars," says the "American Horror Story: Freak Show" actor while walking among giant Oscar statues, before adding, "Let's be realistic, you're not gonna eat less."
The 2015 Academy Awards ceremony is set to take place on February 22. The nominees, meanwhile, will be announced on January 15.
Harris spent the first day in 2015 with his family, taking his 4-year-old daughter and son to play ice skating. His partner David Burtka shared an adorable photo of them, writing, "Happy New Year!! Kids went ice skating for the 1st time. In Malibu, crazy!! Thanks @sdjneuro."
