In the newly released surveillance video, Ray appeared to kiss and nuzzle his then-fiancee and now-wife Janay Palmer in the elevator while both of them were handcuffed.

AceShowbiz - A new surveillance video of Ray Rice has been released. In the two-minute video unveiled by ABC News on Friday, December 19, Ray and his then-fiancee and now-wife Janay Palmer appeared to kiss and nuzzle while they were handcuffed following the elevator assault.

The video first shows Janay being protected by security guards as Ray attempted to move closer to her. Ray then sat far apart from Janay who later sobbed while being treated in a lobby at the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on February 15.

After Ray and Janay were handcuffed, they were escorted by security guards into an escalator. Once inside, Ray was seen kissing and nuzzling Janay who was crying. The couple was then loaded into separate police cars.

According to the site, Ray went to a court to stop the site from obtaining the video but failed. His lawyer Peter Ginsberg was disappointed that the video was publicly shared. "This is a time of healing and he, quite naturally, doesn't want another media showing of what must have been the worst event of his life," Peter said in an interview, "What the media ought to be focusing on is the issue of domestic violence."

During a two-hour hearing in Trenton, New Jersey, Peter claimed Ray "literally does not talk to me about the events [at the casino] without crying - to this day."

On Thursday night, Ray, who knew that the video would be released, talked about the elevator incident during an appearance at a charity event in Baltimore. "I made a horrible mistake in my life, but if you truly believe in second chances, they will forgive me," he said, "I think all the fans have looked deep into who I am."
