Andy Serkis has teased some new details about his mystery character in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Serkis revealed that it is his character who narrates the teaser trailer released earlier this month, but he was reluctant to share more info. "I have to be very careful about how I answer these questions. The character ... He's been through some stuff."

He previously was reported to play two characters in the highly-anticipated movie, but in the interview he said it was "not true at all. I can say I only play one character." When asked if his character would be rendered into digital, the actor who is popular for his motion capture performances in "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" among others refused to answer, "I can't say a single thing about that. I'm sorry! These things will all come out in the fullness of time, I promise."

He dropped another hint in the chat, denying a previous report that he would lead a "group of unbelievably athletic and acrobatic motion capture characters." He said with a laugh, "I'm not leading a band of gymnasts or acrobats."

The name of Serkis' character is still kept under tight wraps. A week after the teaser trailer was released, names of the characters featured in the video was officially revealed. In the 88-second teaser, there are a cute ball droid named BB-8, a cloaked figure called Kylo Ren, X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron (played by Oscar Isaac) and Ren (portrayed by Daisy Ridley).

Most recently, a new character named Captain Phasma reportedly had been added to the story. Fans in the U.S. must wait until December 18, 2015. to see the J.J. Abrams-directed film.
