Cam'ron is retiring from music industry soon. The rapper first sparked retirement rumors when he shared on Instagram a video of him visiting the grave of rapper and friend Andre "Huddy 6" Hudson on Wednesday, December 10.
He said in the caption that "Purple Haze 2" would be his final album. "Fresh off da flight.. To see my brother.. HUD 6 told me lastnite.. #AChangeGoneCome ..my last album.. #PurpleHaze2 this summer.. It's been fun.. But HUD said we got other things to do. #Hud6," he wrote.
He then confirmed the retirement news in a chat with Miss Info. Asked if he's really quitting, he replied, "Yeah. It's a wrap. Time to move on." He went on revealing what he would want to do after his music career is over.
"Movies and clothing are doing really well for me right now. I'm helping Mendeecees [Yandy's husband from 'Love & Hip Hop New York'] with his album. And... I'm building a club in Vegas," he explained.
Cam'ron's new album "Purple Haze 2" is coming out in summer 2015. It serves as the sequel to the classic "Purple Haze" which turned 10 earlier this month.
