The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' hunk confirms his involvement in the adaptation of AJ Lieberman and Riley Rossmo's comic book.

AceShowbiz - It's official; Chris Pratt will lead "Cowboy Ninja Viking". The Star-Lord of "Guardians of the Galaxy" confirms the casting on Twitter. "YES!" he wrote. "But who is our director? That is the question. Who do u think it should be?"

"Zombieland" writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese pen the script based on a graphic novel by AJ Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo. It follows Duncan who masters the skill sets of a cowboy, ninja and a viking. He is the product of a secret government program which turns schizophrenics into assassins.

After the program went awry in Iraq, most of the patients involved in it are sent back to insane asylum, but not Duncan. He escapes and uses his skills to track down the billionaire who masterminded the program.

The project is developed at Universal after Disney rejected it. "World War Z" director Marc Forster was once attached to sit at the helm, but he eventually left. No new helmer is hired so far.
