Sharon Stone's family is mourning the death of her nephew Colin who passed away of suspected drug overdose at the age of 22. On Wednesday, November 19, the "Basic Instinct" actress' family issued a statement addressing Colin's sudden passing, saying that they prayed for strength for other families whose children were in similar problem.

"Colin was a wonderful talented son," read the statement released to Us Weekly. "Unfortunately he had an addiction bigger than himself. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to all families coping with children facing addiction."

Ed Winter of the L.A. County Coroner's office told Radar Online that the son of Stone's brother Michael was found dead of apparent heroin overdose at his apartment on November 10 "during a welfare check by his apartment manager." He added, "His death was recorded as a possible overdose, pending toxicology reports."

According to a source, Stone was on "Life on the Line" filming set with John Travolta when she received the news. On Tuesday, she was seen sporting a black jacket during a lunch with some friends in Paris. Carrying two bags, the 56-year-old actress completed her casual look with a gray top, black pants and a pair of chic boots.
