Chris, who dated Diem on-and-off after meeting on MTV's 'The Challenge' back in 2006, expressed his grief over her passing in an Instagram post one day after her funeral in New York City.

MTV star Chris "CT" Tamburello took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 19 to share a heartbreaking tribute to Diem Brown, who passed away on Friday after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Chris posted a photo of Diem's prayer card and rosary beads with a ring.
He captioned it, "You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We've been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn't changed... it's just going to take a little longer now."
"And I'm going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again," he continued, "So don't worry mama, I'm not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever."
Back in September, a month after Diem was diagnosed with colon cancer, Chris shared a photo of him asleep in a chair while holding her hand while she was sleeping in her hospital bed. He wrote alongside the photo, "Sometimes just being there for someone can be the difference between a good and bad day."
Diem's funeral was held on Tuesday at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in New York City. Chris attended the service along with other MTV stars including Kenny Santucci, Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio and Paula Meronek.
