The actress may say in a recent interview that she would 'absolutely' give up acting but she has a few more roles ahead.

While promoting her directorial work "Unbroken", Angelina Jolie confirmed that she planned to quit acting in favor of directing. As firm as she sounded, the actress later said that she wouldn't abandon her role in front of the camera all of sudden.

Jolie had uttered the intention to quit acting a long time ago. She mentioned about it once again in a recent interview with DuJour magazine. "I've never been comfortable as an actor; I've never loved being in front of the camera," the 39-year-old said. "I didn't ever think I could direct, but I hope I'm able to have a career at it because I'm much happier."

She admitted to being "shy" at directing and that she's still learning. When asked whether she would focus entirely behind the lens, Jolie said "absolutely." But not so fast. Jolie will wave goodbye to acting with a few more roles.

"I see myself moving into directing more and doing much less as an actor," Jolie told EW. "I have a few more in me, ones I have been developing for some time, so I will do those before I step away." She is currently directing herself and husband Brad Pitt in "By the Sea".
