AceShowbiz - Martin Luther King Jr. biopic "Selma" has offered the first trailer for viewing pleasure. It sees David Oyelowo as the legendary civil rights leader who comes face to face with Tom Wilkinson's President Lyndon B. Johnson in his fearless fight for freedom.
The feature film revolves around an important event in U.S. history when King led a campaign for equal voting rights back in 1965. Many obstacles stood in his way during the dangerous march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama before Mr. President yielded.
Tim Roth, Oprah Winfrey, Dylan Baker and Cuba Gooding Jr. are among the supporting cast. Directed by Ava DuVernay, the true-story historical drama is set for limited release on Christmas Day before going wide in North America starting January 9, 2015.
