"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" releases the first full trailer, giving away a lot of new footage that shows rousing glimpses at what to expect in the next installment. Thorin and his company are driven into great despair and turmoil while big war is coming, forcing them to make a dangerous decision.
Emotions run high as Bilbo is pleading with Thorin, "You gave a promise ... You won the mountain. Is that not enough?" Gandalf announces, "This is the last move in a master plan ... a plan long in the making," while Thranduil the Elven King confronts the wizard, "You started this, you will forgive me if I finish it."
The final installment will bring to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the Company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world. The saga will conclude on December 17 in U.S. theaters.
