Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey have welcomed their second child, a daughter, in Los Angeles, PEOPLE reports. The new additional bundle of joy will join the couple's son Exton and Robert's son from his previous marriage, Indio.
On Thursday, October 30, the star of "The Avengers" paid a loving tribute to his very pregnant wife during his acceptance speech at the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards. He asked Susan to stand up so the audience could see her baby bump because she "literally is about to pop."
"How is she so darn pretty and functional and mood stable," he joked, "This pregnancy has been extraordinarily tough for me-self prescribed mandatory bed rest. There's some benefit, at least my milk is finally coming in."
Robert then ended his speech with a message to his wife. "Mrs. Downey, if any day now you're in the throws of birthing and you need to yell at me, scratch me, scratch my face or blame me, that's fine because, yes, I did that to you," the star of "The Judge" said.
