Gwen Stefani is officially back. The singer finally made the highly-anticipated "Baby Don't Lie", her first solo song since the release of 2006's "The Sweet Escape", available on her Vevo page at midnight on Monday, October 20.

The uptempo and catchy track was penned by Stefani along with hitmakers Benny Blanco and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. "Baby don't, baby don't, baby don't lie, I don't wanna cry no longer/ Baby don't, baby don't, baby don't lie, I'ma need a love that's stronger," she sings the chorus.

Stefani, who's currently serving as a coach on "The Voice", will perform the new single on the singing competition later this season. The song's accompanying music video has been shot by director Sophie Muller, the same person behind a lot of her and No Doubt's visuals including "Cool", "Wind It Up" and "Don't Speak".

"Baby Don't Lie" will appear on Stefani's upcoming solo album, which she has been working on with longtime collaborator and fellow "The Voice" coach Pharrell Williams. The LP still has no official release date. Blanco is executive producing the project and he will release it under his label Mad Love Records/Interscope.

In addition to her solo LP, Stefani is readying a new No Doubt album. She has also made a contribution to Calvin Harris' "Motion" album that's coming out on November 4, joining the Scottish DJ on a track called "Together".
