Former "The Only Way Is Essex" star Amy Child escaped unhurt after rolling her Range Rover onto its roof on Wednesday night, October 15. Amy was spotted walking away from the wreckage uninjured after flipping her car outside the Napier Arms pub in South Woodford, London.
In some pictures obtained by Mail Online, Amy was seen being treated by paramedics as she sat on the roadside at around 10:00 P.M. An eyewitness told the site that the roof of the car was "smashed in" while the front of the car was "hanging off." The witness claimed that Amy appeared to be in "shock" and was "shaken" following the accident.
Amy later took to Twitter to say she was "lucky to be alive" and to thank fans for their messages. "I am so lucky to be alive thank you to everyone for your lovely messages, god was definitely watching down on me xxx," she wrote.
A spokesman of Metropolitan Police confirmed they had been called "following reports of an over-turned car." He added, "At this early stage it is believed that the vehicle was in collision with a traffic light. There are no reported injuries at this time and enquiries are continuing."
After the accident happened, the road was closed by police and travelers were told to find alternative routes.
A witness named Daniel Lipman shared on Twitter a collage of pictures of Amy being helped following the accident. He captioned it, "#AmyChilds is a lucky girl. #TOWIE."
