'Seeds of Yesterday' is set 15 years after the third film 'If There Be Thorns' which continues Christopher and Cathy Dollanganger's saga.

AceShowbiz - Lifetime gave the fourth chapter of "Flowers in the Attic" a greenlight. "Seeds of Yesterday", the fourth and final book in V.C. Andrews' novel series, will be adapted into a TV movie premiering next year.

Jason Lewis and Rachael Carpani, stars of the upcoming third installment "If There Be Thorns", will reprise their roles as Christopher and Cathy Dollanganger. In "Seeds of Yesterday", the Dollangangers are now middle-aged and their children are young adults. They "continue to coexist miserably, as their deeply troubled relationships, dark secrets and tragedy come to a head in a way that will haunt the family and its progeny forever," the official synopsis said.

James Maslow has come on board as Bart Dollanganger. It is yet unveiled who will play his half-brother Jory Dollanganger. Toronto Film Festival winner Shawn Ku will direct the film from the script written by Darren Stein.

"Seeds of Yesterday" will be produced by A+E Studios for Lifetime. Dan Angel, Jane Startz and Jocelyn Freid will executive produce while Harvey Kahn and Rick Arredondo will serve as producers.
