Liam Neeson Framed for Murder in First Trailer of 'Tak3n'
Movie

After dealing with two kidnappings in the past, Bryan Mills is faced with a much bigger problem this time.

They just won't leave Bryan Mills' family alone. The first trailer of "Tak3n", the third installment in the action-packed movie series "Taken", was released to explain what the ex-CIA is dealing with this time.

Mills came home to find out that his wife had been murdered inside their own house. In a matter of minutes, police barged in and put him on handcuffs. He realized that he had been framed and that his and daughter's lives were in danger. "I'm going to finish this," Mills said in the trailer.

The first "Taken" dealt with the kidnapping of his daughter. In the sequel, Mills and his wife were the ones taken to captivity and his daughter helped rescue them. Liam Neeson, who portrays Mills, previously thought that there wouldn't be a third movie. "I don't think there'll be a 'Taken 3'," he said in a radio interview. "[My daughter] can't get taken again. That's just bad parenting."

Somehow they figured out a story that would put Mills' "very particular set of skills" into use again. "I was always ready to face the consequences to protect my family. My first priority is to protect the only one I have left," he said of his daughter in the trailer.

Olivier Megaton, who directed the second installment, is back as helmer. "Tak3n" will be released in U.S. theaters January 9, 2015.
