AceShowbiz - Comedy Central's sketch show "Key & Peele" may get a feature film treatment. The stars of the show, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, confirm that they are in negotiations with a Hollywood studio to make a movie based on one of their famous skits.
"We're in negotiations at Paramount to make a 'Substitute Teacher' movie," Key spills to Entertainment Weekly. "Two of our writers are penning it. Well, they're not penning it as we speak - it's getting there."
The duo is also producing a reboot of "Police Academy". "We were brought on to take the creative lead with it," Peele says. "We got two of our friends, Ike Barinholtz and Dave Stassen [both of 'The Mindy Project'] - brilliant, funny men. They're going to be penning the script."
Their other projects include a comedy they are working on with Judd Apatow and an untitled horror movie that Peele is eying to direct.
