Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover have joined "Andron", an action sci-fi film from writer/director Franceso Cinquemani. No words yet on what kind of roles they will play in the movie, which focuses on young men and women suddenly waking up in a dark and claustrophobic maze.

"The story of Andron is enough to excite sci-fi fans worldwide, but when you add actors like Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover, the meter rises even higher," Andrea Iervolino of production company AMBI said. "We're very excited to add this film to our production slate and eager to get to work on a film we believe has great breakout potential."

The group does not recall how they got in the labyrinth in the first place. The group must learn to decipher codes, understand the signals and beat the tests in a mysterious and bizarre place. Out of necessity, they struggle to form a bond to survive, while the outside world watches and wages bets on their fates.

Michelle Ryan, Skin, Jon Kortajarena, Gale Harold and Leo Howard have all been cast as the group. Cinquemani writes the screenplay and makes his feature directorial debut in this movie. Principal photography will kick off this month in Malta but the pic is yet to get U.S. distributor.
